PPS Play Structure Prototype

The Play Cover offers a flexible, protected outdoor space for games and gathering. Designed to fit a full basketball court, or two youth-size courts side by side, the Play Cover can adapt to a variety of uses. Slender, painted steel columns allow for sight lines to and from the Play Cover. Wood glulam beams and a cross-laminated timber roof utilize local materials, with a clear span that minimizes spots for birds to nest. A metal roof, gutters, and downspouts shed water and distribute it to planted areas surrounding the structure.
